Bleaching, English for “bleaching”, is a method from aesthetic dentistry. Not many people can claim to be naturally blessed with sparkling white teeth.
We can help with special brightening active ingredients in the form of gel. It is applied to the teeth and decolorizes the color molecules. The brightening effect can be enhanced even further using light.
Your tooth color will be determined in a consultation including a preliminary examination. You will then receive an analysis of the causes of the discoloration and a forecast of what degree of lightening you can expect and when. Bleaching can only be carried out if your teeth and gums are in a healthy condition - for example, free of periodontitis and regularly treated prophylactically.

Teeth can either be naturally darker in color or have become discolored due to old fillings. There are three different bleaching options that can counteract these discolorations:
- “In-Office Bleaching” – treatment in our dental practice “Home Bleaching” – for at home, for minor color changes “Internal Bleaching” – for discolored, root-treated teeth
If old amalgam or plastic fillings have become discolored, they can also be replaced with modern, nano-filled plastics or ceramic inlays.
In addition to the aesthetic ideal of white teeth, the patient's desire for healthy red gums is also becoming increasingly important. The course of the gums in harmony with a light tooth color is referred to as “red-white aesthetics”.
In a consultation including a preliminary examination, your tooth color will be determined, you will receive an analysis of the causes of the discoloration and it will be determined what degree of whitening you can expect and in what time.
